Make Your First Journal Challenge

Starts March 8-12th

When it comes to creating handmade books, the most common struggle is not knowing where to start. This 5-day challenge will walk you step-by-step through your first project. You will learn about the basic tools and techniques you need to launch you on an exciting handmade book journey.

At the end of 5 days, you'll have

  • a beautiful hand-bound journal that you're proud to show your family and friends
  • the confidence to make more books
  • a brand new supportive community
  • Lifetime access to the project

Not a beginner? This two needle coptic stitch journal is a great addition to your bookmaking repertoire.
The method we learn in class forms rows of neat link stitches and avoids having those awkward rows of stitches on the ends.
This is the best looking coptic stitch you'll ever make.

The Journal

Together we will create a soft cover coptic stitched journal with textured watercolor pages.  We will take it one day at a time and slowly build your beautiful book.

Each morning, you will receive in your inbox a pre-recorded video with the day's lesson. Then, at noon EST, I will go live in our private Facebook group, to answer all your questions.

As you proceed through the project, you will learn how to use basic book making tools and learn the fundamental skills you need to start making books.

Check out the full tool and supply list before you sign up.
